INTERIM SENIOR MINISTER: Wye Huxford is a full-time professor at Point University (formerly Atlanta Christian College) and was previously a Senior Minister for twenty (20) years at a Christian church in Tyrone, GA. He and his wife, Vicki, came to Mount Carmel in October 2010 to serve in an interim capacity. Vicki plays piano and organ and both have immersed themselves into our church family with commitment and love.
ASSOCIATE MINISTER: Art Stansberry and his family, wife Christy and sons, Caleb and Landon, have served at Mount Carmel since April 2004. He serves as our Student Minister coordinating all student activities and services, as well as that of Associate Minister as our current full time senior staff member. Christy works at the Mount Carmel Christian School, serves in various ministries, and is also committed to coordinate our Vacation Bible School program each summer. CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR: Vicki Tyler with her husband, Jeff, and children, Morgan, Will, and Ally, have served Mount Carmel in numerous ministries over the past 22 years. Vicki and Jeff both grew up in the Mount Carmel church family. Vicki accepted the call to be Children's Director in 2004 and Jeff works steadfast as a Deacon. Vicki studied early childhood education and social work as an undergraduate, and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Masters in Social Work. As Children's Director Vicki is responsible for leading a team of over 70 volunteers in numerous children's programs (ages birth thru 5th grade), small groups, and special events. BOB SUTTON: Administrator. Bob has attended Mount Carmel for many years. He and his wife Sally are always at church and he is certainly our "go to" guy that keeps the church running smoothly.
