Vacation Bible School NEEDS

VBS is right around the corner (June 3-8) and this year's theme is SKY - Everything is Possible with God. Even you are not able to volunteer that week (but we would love to have you, even if it is only for one night) you could contribute by donating any of these items:

Batting/stuffing (to make clouds), blue tarps, white tissue paper, toy parachute soldiers, zip ties, kites (plain colors), individual bags of chips (eg.50 count box from Sams), paper plates, napkins,lalrge cans of lemonade mix, and packaged cookies (no nuts).

OR....maybe you would like to help with the decorations, most Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6:30pm, Wednesday night, May 23 and Wednesday night May 30. Call Christy or Vicki to be sure if you are interested.

Craft Items needed in Children's Ministry ...

Please save your empty 2-liter soda bottles, empty cool whip or margarine tubs, toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, baby food jars, colored construction paper, wrapping paper, tissue paper, washable markers, glue sticks, and any other craft items you can donate. This will help us in various projects throughout the year.

Children's Ministry is in need of additional Sunday morning nursery volunteers (once a month rotation) and Wednesday night and Sunday night volunteers for all age groups.

All Children's Ministry volunteers will be required to complete a background check. Contact Vicki Tyler if you are interested in serving in the Children's Ministry.

A few more GROUNDS VOLUNTEERS  are needed to trim, mow and edge. If you are willing to join the "team" of grounds volunteers contact John Eidson at 770-279-8437 ext.19.

Volunteers Needed for Communion Prep and Delivery

No experience needed-just a servant's heart.  Contact Thom Arrendale to volunteer for this ministry which is truly a blessing to our shut-ins as well as to those making the deliveries. Arrangements are possible for those in your neighborhood or on your way home from church.  Also needed is volunteers to help prepare communion on sunday mornings. This requires coming just a little early (around 8:30) to help prepare the trays in the communion room.
